The Villafañe family has been in the wine business for almost 400 years. In 1611 Don Manuell Villafañe settled in South America as a farmer. He took the role as a pioneer of winemaking in Argentina as one of the first people of the land to plant vines and produce high quality wines. The legacy of Don Manuel Villafañe to deliver high quality wines to the world market. Don Manuel Villafañe winery is currently sending wines to 7 different countries, as well as to the domestic market in Argentina. Don Manuel Villafañe received multiple awards in Vinus 2009 due to the excellent work of their oenologist Federico J. Isgró.
